Aren't villas expensive?

Most groups need multiple rooms — and when you run the numbers, a private villa often costs less than booking equivalent hotel rooms separately. Sometimes significantly less.
On a recent fall family trip to Paros, six luxury hotel rooms were running $600+ per night each — over $3,600 per night, or $25,000+ for the week. The private six-bedroom villa — with an infinity pool, ocean views, daily housekeeping, a gourmet kitchen, and a private chef — came in under $13,000 for the week. Total.
