Compared to renting a single hotel room, yes. But when you compare the per person/per day cost of renting a villa vs booking multiple rooms at a luxury resort or hotel, you’ll often find that a villa offers excellent value. Here’s a recent family example:

On the island of Paros, hotels can run $650+ a night for a 4 to 5-star property. Multiply that by the six rooms we needed for the week, and that’s $2,300 per person. Instead, we rented a six-bedroom luxury villa for nearly half the cost ($1,350 per person) which included an ocean view, infinity pool, gym, outdoor theater, gourmet kitchen, fire pit, butler, housekeeper, and private chef.

Factor food costs into the equation and the savings escalate. Staying in a villa costs anywhere from $65 to $75 per person per day for food versus $65 to $75 per person just for breakfast in a resort. So you can get three meals a day for the price of breakfast. If you’re feeding a big group, the savings can add up.

We have villas with all-inclusive plans! Most villas can be packaged with transportation and activities to create a package. Also, there are more benefits to staying in a villa than a traditional all-inclusive, such as privacy, extra space, and more personalized service.

Anyone can list their property on an online website. There are no standards. No one is inspecting the property. No one is verifying the accuracy of the listing. You never know what awaits you when you walk in the door. In addition, there’s no concierge to arrange your special event and put together unique experiences customized to your group’s interests. You pay booking fees. It can be difficult contacting the host or owner if something goes wrong or isn’t working. When three generations are relying on you, you’ll feel better knowing all our properties are fully vetted, with no unwelcome surprises. Our villa specialists are available 24/7. Your dedicated concierge is at your service to help you create special moments and to make sure everything is to your satisfaction. And there’s no booking fees.

We’ve designed successful trips for families with toddlers to 90-year-old great-grandparents. Each villa is carefully chosen to accommodate your specific group’s mobility needs and comfort requirements.

Picture this: While grandparents enjoy a private wine tasting on the villa terrace, parents might be taking a cooking class, and kids could be learning traditional crafts with a local artisan. We create flexible daily plans where family members can choose their perfect mix of together time and individual adventures.

Our definition of luxury goes beyond thread counts and infinity pools (though we ensure those details too). True luxury means:

  • A villa that becomes your private sanctuary, perfectly matched to your group’s needs
  • The freedom to create your own schedule, away from tourist crowds
  • Space for everyone to come together or find quiet moments alone
  • Access to exceptional experiences most travelers never discover
  • Peace of mind knowing every detail has been thoughtfully arranged
  • Most importantly: unhurried time with the people you love most

Absolutely, it’s standard with every booking. Your attentive and caring concierge speaks English and is your local expert – there to help you navigate your travels with ease and provide deeper, richer experiences.

Need a kid-friendly restaurant that grandmother will love too? They’ll guide you to those special spots that locals usually keep to themselves – the kind of places where they take their own friends when they visit. Want help with transportation or translation? Looking for authentic local experiences? They handle it all. You’ll discover hidden gems that guidebooks miss, avoid overpriced tourist traps, and feel more connected to your destination – experiencing it like a welcomed guest, not an annoying tourist.

Out of 15 million vacation rentals online, we work with fewer than 2,500 properties worldwide. We start with beautiful villas in stunning locations. Next, we look for a WOW factor. Whether it’s a stunning view, unique décor, manicured gardens, gourmet kitchen, infinity pool, rare art — or a combination — we look for qualities that make a property extraordinary.

Then each must pass an exhaustive 60-point inspection process covering everything from bed comfort to kitchen equipment to Wi-Fi strength. Including:

Location Verification

  • Actual walking times to amenities
  • Noise levels at different times
  • Local area safety assessment
  • Accuracy of “view” claims

Comfort & Quality

  • Bed comfort and linen quality
  • Kitchen equipment completeness & functionality
  • Wi-Fi speed in all areas
  • Pool temperature and maintenance

Service Standards

  • Response time testing
  • English-speaking staff availability
  • Emergency procedures
  • Local support network

If you can dream it, we can make it happen. A few recent examples:

  • A private after-hours visit to the Sistine Chapel
  • Helicopter flight for a quick round at an exclusive golf course
  • A sunset yacht cruise with a marine biologist
  • Exploring hidden Paris with a professional photographer
  • Living on a working farm and participating in the olive harvest

We can build your trip around an interest or hobby. The most common is golf, but other possibilities include hiking, climbing, horseback riding, ornithology, surfing, biking, sportscars, wine, art, photography, and history. Every experience is tailored to your group’s unique interests.

And when you choose Event Planning Services, our team will bring your special occasion to life, ensuring that every detail, from theme conception and décor to entertainment and logistics, is meticulously planned and executed.

While we don’t book flights, we handle everything else: private drivers, personal trainers, local guides, wellness, restaurant reservations, activity scheduling, and any special requirements. Your dedicated concierge is available to handle unexpected needs or last-minute changes.

Yes. The minimum night stay will vary depending on the time of year you’re booking, the destination, and the owner. During low season, you can expect a 3–5-night minimum stay, 5-7 nights during high season, and 10-14 nights for peak holiday season.

Absolutely – and we’ll connect you with providers who specialize in high-value villa vacations. Their comprehensive policies cover everything from trip cancellation to medical emergencies, giving you complete peace of mind.

We offer three levels of flexibility, from fully refundable to discounted non-refundable options. We’ll help you choose the best fit for your comfort level and always recommend cancellation insurance for any unforeseen circumstances.

After 25 years of planning group trips, here’s what works:

  • Plan one special group activity each day
  • Build in plenty of downtime
  • Include some meals at the villa
  • Keep flexible about who does what
  • Create opportunities for different generations to bond one-on-one

We’ll guide you through all of this during the planning process.

Celebration Vacations vary widely based on destination, villa, season, and group size. Villa rates typically range from $1,000 to $100,000 per night, with options spanning beachfront villas, mountain retreats, private estates, luxury ski chalets, historic manor houses – even entire islands.

To begin planning, we charge a $997 discovery and planning fee.

This fee covers:

  • Personal consultation and guidance throughout the planning process
  • Back-and-forth iteration to identify the right property for your group & celebration
  • Coordination with trusted local teams on the ground
  • Planning of experiences, transfers, reservations, and logistics
  • A day-by-day draft itinerary you can review, adjust, and share with your group

Once planning is underway, villa rental costs and any optional services (such as event design or special experiences) are quoted separately and paid directly.

How to get started:

  1. Complete the short request form
  2. Schedule your consultation
  3. Begin the discovery and planning process
  4. Review recommendations and itinerary draft

Availability note:

To ensure each celebration receives focused attention, we work with a limited number of new clients each month. Many top villas book 9–18 months in advance, especially for peak seasons, so starting early provides the best selection.

Why is there a planning fee?

Celebration trips require more time, coordination, and on-the-ground resources than typical travel planning. The $997 planning fee covers dedicated guidance, careful villa matching, and coordination with trusted local teams—so you’re never handling details alone, and support is in place if anything needs attention.

It also allows time to shape custom-tailored experiences that feel thoughtful and meaningful rather than mass-produced. The result is a celebration designed around your people and priorities—planned with care, and unlike anyone else’s.
