FAQ’s
Aren’t villas expensive?
Compared to renting a single hotel room, yes. But when you compare the per person/per day cost of renting a villa vs booking multiple rooms at a luxury resort or hotel, you’ll often find that a villa offers excellent value. Here’s a recent family example:
On the island of Paros, hotels can run $650+ a night for a 4 to 5-star property. Multiply that by the six rooms we needed for the week, and that’s $2,300 per person. Instead, we rented a six-bedroom luxury villa for nearly half the cost ($1,350 per person) which included an ocean view, infinity pool, gym, outdoor theater, gourmet kitchen, fire pit, butler, housekeeper, and private chef.
Factor food costs into the equation and the savings escalate. Staying in a villa costs anywhere from $65 to $75 per person per day for food versus $65 to $75 per person just for breakfast in a resort. So you can get three meals a day for the price of breakfast. If you’re feeding a big group, the savings can add up.
Can’t I just book on Airbnb?
You can, but…
- Anyone can list their property on an online website. There are no standards.
- No one is inspecting the property.
- No one is verifying the accuracy of the listing.
- You never know what awaits you when you walk in the door. (When friends or family members are relying on you, you’ll feel better knowing all our properties are fully vetted, with no unwelcome surprises.)
- It can be difficult contacting the host or owner if something goes wrong or isn’t working.

What age ranges are appropriate for your trips?
We’ve designed successful trips for families with toddlers to 90-year-old great-grandparents. Each villa is carefully chosen to accommodate your specific group’s mobility needs and comfort requirements.
How do you handle different ages and interests in one trip?
Picture this: While grandparents enjoy a private wine tasting on the villa terrace, parents might be taking a cooking class, and kids could be learning traditional crafts with a local artisan. We create flexible daily plans where family members can choose their perfect mix of together time and individual adventures.
Is there a minimum night requirement?
Yes. The minimum night stay will vary depending on the time of year you’re booking, the destination, and the owner. During low season, you can expect a 3–5-night minimum stay, 5-7 nights during high season, and 10-14 nights for peak holiday season.
What’s the investment and how does pricing work?
Celebration Travel investment varies by destination, season, and group size. Our hand-selected portfolio includes extraordinary private residences typically starting around $2,000 per night, with some exceptional estates exceeding $100,000 per night. From beachfront estates and historic manor homes to luxury ski chalets, refined city residences, and even private islands.
